This privacy policy describes how Nobuo Miura (“the developer”) handles information in the iOS and iPadOS app Clessidra (“the app”).
The developer does not collect, store, or use any of your information.
1. Information the app handles
The app handles the following information that you enter:
- Your birthday and chosen lifespan
- Your bucket list (titles, notes, categories, priorities, deadlines, steps, completion dates, reflections, and so on)
- App settings such as reminder timing
2. Where your information is stored
This information is stored only on your device and in your own iCloud account (Apple’s CloudKit private database and key-value store). iCloud storage is used to sync your data across devices signed in to the same Apple Account, and is managed under Apple’s privacy policy.
The developer cannot view or access data stored in your iCloud account.
3. Data collection by the developer
The app does not send your information to the developer or to any third-party server. It contains no account registration, advertising, analytics, or tracking.
4. Notifications
Deadline reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, and are used only if you allow them. No information is sent externally for notifications.
5. In-app purchases (tips)
Optional tips are processed entirely by Apple’s App Store. The developer does not receive your name or payment information.
6. Exported files
Backup (JSON) and CSV files you export are shared only with the destination you choose. Their handling after that is subject to the terms of that destination.
7. Crash reports
If you have enabled “Share With App Developers” in your device settings, Apple may provide the developer with information about app performance and crashes. This information is provided by Apple and does not identify you. The developer uses it only to fix problems.
8. Deleting your data
Deleting an item in the app moves it to the trash, where you can restore it for 30 days. After 30 days, it is permanently deleted the next time you launch or return to the app. To delete it immediately, choose Delete Permanently in the trash or empty the trash.
Deleting the app removes its app data from your device. Data stored in iCloud can be deleted from iCloud storage management under your Apple Account in the iOS Settings app.
9. Changes to this policy
Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page and take effect when posted.
