# About
I'm a freelance engineer based in Hokkaido, Japan, working across a wide range of technical areas: system development, cloud architecture and build-out, infrastructure operations, automation, and applied AI.
I enjoy exploring new technologies and value learning broadly rather than limiting myself to a single field.
Whether selecting technologies, designing architectures, or improving and modernizing existing systems, I take the time to understand the context behind each challenge and find a practical approach that fits the project.
// Selected Work
▸Maintenance management system for government (web migration)
Migrated a desktop-centric legacy system to a web application, redesigned for the cloud. Led requirements, base design, cloud build-out, and implementation, integrating GIS features to improve field operations.
▸GitHub Issue/PR auto-check app
Built a GitHub App that detects new issues and pull requests via webhooks, then auto-checks content, applies labels, and assigns reviewers — cutting manual triage and preventing missed checks.
▸Multi-system consolidation & cloud migration (AWS/Azure/M365)
Consolidated multiple legacy systems and migrated them in stages to a new platform: IaC-based infrastructure, identity integration with Microsoft Entra ID, operations design, and team enablement. Also introduced AI-powered support automation.
▸Crack-detection AI for infrastructure inspection
Developed an AI system that detects cracks and defects in images: model design, training data curation, accuracy tuning, and API/web integration. Outperformed the external vendor's proposal and was adopted for production.
▸Slack-driven AWS operations automation
Built an app where an LLM interprets Slack messages and executes AWS resource operations — letting the team run routine operations entirely from Slack, without touching the AWS console.
▸API load testing & vulnerability assessment
Designed and ran load tests and verified authentication flows. Discovered a broken-authorization flaw allowing user impersonation, reported it before release, and drove the fix.
